Technical advice: troubleshooting

  • The Language Lab quizzes don't work
Get Flash playerTo play the Language Lab quizzes the Macromedia Flash player is required. To download the up-to-date version of the player go to: www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer
Alternatively, the CD also contains '.exe' versions of the quizzes, which do not require the Flash player.
  • The 'Why study languages?' PowerPoint Presentations don't work
Get PowerPoint 2003 ViewerThe PowerPoint presentations use Microsoft PowerPoint 2003. You can download a copy of the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer for free. The PowerPoint Viewer is a program used to run presentations on computers that don't have Microsoft PowerPoint installed. We have also created alternative versions of the presentations which will work on older versions of PowerPoint.
